Following the TCCC / TECC Care Under Fire guidelines, rendering of aid is performed in three different phases of care, depending on the threat level:
Rendered while under attack or in adverse conditions.
Rendered while the threat has been suppressed but may resurface.
Rendered when threat is neutralized, or conditions are no longer adverse.
Knowing full well that medical training can be overwhelming for those who lack prior experience, we offer three different courses to our clients. Utilizing the crawl, walk, run method of instruction, each course builds on it's predecessor, gradually adding to the immediate responder's skillset.
Care Under Fire Training is available to civilian and LE clients alike.
CUF-LEO is reserved for a law enforcement and security officers only.

Exigent Care focuses predominantly on HOT ZONE / DIRECT THREAT CARE training (massive bleeding control), includes the full American College of Surgeons STOP THE BLEED® training course, and provides an introduction to the MARCH assessment protocol performed within the WARM ZONE / INDIRECT THREAT CARE environment. No prior training or prerequisite is required for this entry level course.
TacEvac (Tactical Evacuation) builds upon the foundation established by your prior Exigent Care training. The course revolves around a deeper dive into understanding and applying the WARM ZONE / INDIRECT THREAT CARE MARCH algorithm by way of hands-on medical component application labs and role playing scenarios. Participants are introduced to COLD ZONE / EVACUATION CARE techniques including bandaging and splinting, victim triage as well as lifting, dragging and carrying techniques. Exigent Care or prior TCCC / TECC training is a prerequisite.
CUF-FTX (Care Under Fire - Final Training Exercise), our third and final course, is only available to those who have successfully completed both the Exigent Care and the TacEvac training programs. This 100% practical application, scenario based training event utilizes pistols converted to fire UTM brand non-lethal "simunition" rounds (provided by Aim True) to simulate active shooter events. The primary focus of the course is your immediate response to high stress environments, including working in and around vehicles and within structures. This training brings it all together, testing your ability to rapidly assess and provide preventable death, life saving treatment and evacuation care in hostile environments. Once your TacEvac training is complete, you will receive an invitation to participate in our next CUF-FTX course.
Course Fee: $125.00
Duration: 5 hours
Training Location: ATG private training facility - Prairieville TX
Care under fire scenario using UTM non-lethal sim rounds.
Following the TECC Guidelines for First Responders with a Duty to Act, CUF-LEO combines the critical elements of both Exigent Care and TacEvac (Tactical Evacuation), combined into a full eight to ten hour training course. Designed specifically for law enforcement, this course concentrates heavily upon hands on skills labs, simulations and on demand execution of life saving tactical medical interventions.
To compliment the training, medical kit and component consultations and sales are available to all LE agencies and municipalities.
