Prerequisite:
Knowledge of firearms safety, muzzle control and muzzle discipline. This is an introductory course. No prior experience with a precision rifle is required
Overview:
- Fundamentals of precision rifle shooting
- Foundational shooting position development
- Establishing zero
- D.O.P.E collection
- Reticle range estimation
- Mildot Master work
- Reading, dialing & holding wind / ballistics calculations
- Multiple target engagement work at both known & unknown distances ranging from 200 to 1000 + yards
Instructor Cadre:
- Active duty and/or retired military & LEO
Student Required Gear:
- Seasonally appropriate clothing
- Rain gear (if needed)
- Eye & ear protection
Rifle:
- Rifle capable of one minute of angle or better
- Scope that can dial or hold (preferable mil radian sub tensions and turrets , or MOA reticle with MOA turrets)
- Harris bipod swivel model 6-9 or equivalent
Rifle Support Gear:
- Shooting mat
- Rear bag
- Mildot Master
- Notebook / pen
- iPhone or app driven phone to use ballistic solvers apps
Ammo:
- Match grade ammunition
- 300 rounds minimum

Optional Equipment:
- Kestrel Ballistics Meter
- Spotting scope
- Range finder
- Tripod to shoot off of and any other equipment you may use in your hunting scenarios

Course Fee: A baseline fee is required to administer the course. The individual tuition rate reduces as the number of participants increases. A minimum of two students is required to secure a course, with a maximum of five.
Training is available at a rate of:
- $2000 for groups of two
- $2550 for groups of three
- $3000 for groups of four
- $3500 for groups of five
A $750 deposit is required to secure your spot.

The Mission Critical Experience
This two day precision rifle immersion course is hosted by our partners at Mission Critical. Their private 2300 acre training ranch lies on the outskirts of Gatesville TX (approx. 50 miles west of Waco). With access to the ranch being by invitation only, you will not be sharing time with shooters out for the day to zero their deer guns, or anyone else for that matter. This expansive native training facility, comprised of wide-ranging terrain features and topography is reserved exclusively for Mission Critical clients.
Training commences early morning, runs throughout the day, and wraps up early evening. Transportation of shooters and gear across the ranch is provided by staff via the custom Deuce & ½ and Humvee military vehicles. Students are more than welcome to store rifles and equipment overnight in the SOT BATF approved Mission Critical vault.
A diverse instructor cadre, composed of real world experienced active duty and/or retired professional military and law enforcement snipers, paired with a low student to instructor ratio, at this pristine one of a kind training facility consistently delivers what is said to be the experience of a lifetime.
