"With the exception of safety, there are no absolutes".  Leaving dogma at the door, students are consistently presented with a multitude of options in order to find the absolute best technique suited for the individual.

“If we cannot teach you a technique in ten rounds or less, then we are either failures as instructors, or it is not the right method for you”. 

In the event of the latter, alternative techniques are offered until a suitable match has been realized.

Our work begins with the development of rock solid pistol handling skills alongside a durable, reliable and repeatable grip; the critical elements required to begin the journey toward the culmination of speed and accuracy. 

With an open mind and the will to put in the requisite hard work, our LEO’s are typically breaking their first shot with extreme accuracy from a level three duty holster in well under 1.75 seconds and sending very tight subsequent shots (fist sized groups) in 0.25 second split times (or faster) at seven yards, in very short order. 

Heavy emphasis is placed upon multiple target engagement work at random distances with varying target heights, sizes and levels of difficulty – with an A Zone accuracy accountability.

A tier one level of marksmanship, on demand, at speed is the standard.

Our LE Performance Pistol training mirrors the ever evolving curriculum and instructional methodologies specifically designed for the tip of the spear units who routinely train with us on the automated Mission Critical Rogers Range.

LE training is typically conducted on Fridays and Mondays, but is available seven days a week. Training normally begins at 09:00 in the warmer months and at 13:00 in the colder months. Start times can be modified to meet the department / individual officer’s schedules.

These are high intensity four to five hour training sessions.

Most agencies send each of their officers out for quarterly training sessions, while others opt for monthly training.

Our typical ratio is one instructor for every two students on the range, and will not exceed one instructor for every three students.

Maximizing one on one interaction between students and instructors is critical for the rapid development of individual skillset. Between two and four students per course is optimal.
